Students should blog because it takes 5 minutes to set up and anyone from a 1st grader to an adult can publish to the Internet. Blogging also allows students to have a journalistic opportunity to communicate with a large network of people. Research shows the more students are writing the better writers they may become and blogging offers an easy venue. Blogging enables students to write for a broad audience - easy global communication. Students also understand the responsibility and impact of their words.
